Welcome Everyone!

Good Evening,

Thank you for registering for the inaugural CKF Women's Iaido Seminar this weekend at the Etobicoke Olympium. We are looking forward to see you there.

To make your day(s) as smooth and easy as possible, please review the following details ahead of your arrival:

Hotel: For those who are staying at the Best Western, please double-check that you are booked at the Best Western PLUS TRAVEL Hotel, and not the Best Western PLUS Hotel Airport.  See link in the FAQ

Dojo: For those who haven't been to the Olympium before, there is a small parking lot in the front, and a much larger one further in, on-site. The practice space is in the basement. You can take the stairs or elevators, and look for the jogging track. There will be signs that point you there.

Registration: The registration table will be open at 8:30 am on both days. Please arrive early and change in the MAIN FLOOR change rooms. The washrooms downstairs are not for changing. Please respect the Olympium's policy.

Lunch: Lunch will be served in Room #13, which is around the hallway from the dojo space. There is ample seating for everyone, not only those who ordered bento!

Lectures: Bring your notebook and pen/pencil! Lectures will most likely be held on the dojo floor. If you need a chair, please let one of the volunteers know.

Banquet: The banquet room (2nd Floor Lounge) will be available for...lounging... immediately after the seminar. Dinner will be served ~6pm, and the interview will start after Sensei has had a chance to enjoy her food. Beer will be available for purchase -- please do not bring your own alcohol -- our permit does not allow it.

Pictures/Video: We will have a couple of dedicated photographers/videographers during the seminar. If you do not wish your images to be shared online, please let me know ahead of time.

If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to email, text/whatsapp, or call me -- in that order of preference ;)

See you soon!
